As we go to the next stage in David’s life, we find an instance where David was sincerely being kind to someone, but that someone then reacted in a spiteful, hateful, manner. This happens all too frequently in the Christian’s life as we try to live among worldly people while trying to be Christian in our manners and deportment. Studying what David did and did not do is very educational.
